As Americans, we tend to view ourselves as a shining example of freedom and prosperity to the rest of the world. But what does freedom mean in a society captured by billionaires, where elections are bought and paid for, and where you are “free” to do only that which you can afford?
Without a living wage, adequate healthcare, secure retirement and time off the job, how free are you? Those are four of the core principles we fight for as a union, and which we seek to win for the whole working class. (Shawn Fain – UAW President)
